Becoming a part of the most prestigious Academy event is a huge step forward for our fresh roster.
WePlay Academy League Season 5 will mark the debut of our all-Finnish Academy roster. The three-week-long league kicks off on the 25th of July and currently consists of the 14 best academy teams in CS:GO.
“We as an organization have followed the development of this great League and brand for a long time. Now, with a fresh Academy roster, it was only natural to apply to be a part of this awesome League.”

Taking part in the WePlay Academy League is an excellent chance for our young players to show their teeth on an international playing field, garner experience, and develop further as individuals. For many players, the league has proven to be an important stepping stone into Tier 1 CS, such as G2's m0NESY and MOUZ's JDC and torzsi.
“Even though we’ve only been practicing for a few weeks, the whole team is extremely hungry and waiting to be able to show their current level against other teams. This is a fantastic chance for our Finnish talents and, of course, our coaching staff.
The goal for this season is very clear. We want to develop in-game as a team more than any other roster. In the future, we definitely want to be able to challenge the other top teams of the League.” Eemeli "Woomera" Ikonen explains.
