ENCE CS:GO coaching update

ENCE’s Head Coach Slaava “Twista” Räsänen received a 15.75 month ban from the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) as announced this Monday.

The cases date back to 2017 before he was a part of ENCE and unfortunately he had encountered and abused a “coaching bug” on two separate occasions which he faces consequences for now. ENCE as an organization supports ESIC’s conclusion and has integrity in esports as a priority.

“Slaava has done an exceptional job in our organization and we have no negative feelings towards him or his job he has put in to our team during his time in ENCE.”

- Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, GM at ENCE

During his time at ENCE, Slaava has shown exceptional work ethic, moral and his track record is undeniable. After careful consideration, ENCE as an organization does not want his past mistakes to define his future with us, but instead have decided to move him to an analyst position in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. This is a position both the team and Slaava himself feel like fits his strengths the best way.

Slaava has had an exceptional track record while working as the Head Coach at ENCE

This also means that ENCE is now looking for a new Head Coach for the CS:GO team - regardless of nationality. Any agencies representing coaches or individuals with expertise in coaching in CS:GO at high level looking for a new challenge - are adviced to get in touch with our General Manager Niklas Ojalainen
