Slaava “Twista” Räsänen exits ENCE coaching staff

ENCE and its Assistant Coach and Analyst Slaava “Twista” Räsänen have decided to go our separate ways. As we have entered a new year, ENCE and the CS:GO team is going through a major overhaul and that also extends to the coaching staff.

“Two and a half years went by flying with some remarkable achievements, poor decisions and struggles. I will cherish all the good and bads since the journey is what teaches you."

“Two and a half years went by flying with some remarkable achievements, poor decisions and struggles. I will cherish all the good and bads since the journey is what teaches you.

The past six months have been a big lesson for me which I consider the biggest learning experience in the whole time as a coach.

I took some distance late December to self-reflect my mistakes, I don't think any of the players in ENCE can deny my work in game, but I have much more to learn outside of it so that's where my focus will be going forward. I bow before every player who represented ENCE during my time and also thank everyone working behind us.”, says Slaava “ Twista” Räsänen

Twista spent 2.5 years coaching the ENCE CS:GO team with biggest success coming in 2019

Slaava joined ENCE back in August, 2018 as the Head Coach for our CS:GO team and did a remarkable job helping ENCE become one of the main stays in Counter-Strike. His biggest achievements with us came along with a string of strong performances starting from a win in StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6 in 2018 to the unforgettable run at IEM Katowice 2019 Major and the championship at BLAST Premier Madrid 2019 along with a few finals appearances in other tournaments. He was then later in 2020 moved to an Assistant Coach and Analyst role to pair up with newly appointed Head Coach Eetu “sAw” Saha.

“We would like to thank Slaava for his time and effort with us and for all the memories we made together. It was now time to turn a new page for both sides and we wish him nothing but the best moving forward”, says Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen, GM at ENCE

ENCE will announce its 2021 CS:GO roster and plans later this week.
