Thank you Xirreth, Welcome Sens

We have mutually agreed with Urszula “Xirreth” Klimczak to part ways and pursue new opportunities after a full year as our CS Performance Coach. Now, we want to give a warm welcome to Jaime “Sens” Callejas de la Pinta, who steps in to take on the mantle.

Thank you Xirreth

Joining ENCE in the autumn of 2022, Xirreth traveled with and coached our main CS roster, while also offering support to our Academy team and ENCE Athena. During her stay, we climbed the ranks to become the 2nd best team in the world, and showed up consistently in multiple Grand Finals in 2023, lifting a trophy in IEM Dallas. As her time with us has now come to an end, we want to thank her for her excellent work and wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.

“Our journey started more than a year ago. We met in Malta during the RMR qualifier, and my first memory is seeing a group of lonely wolves hungry to succeed. They had skill, they had the drive, they had the passion. Yet, back then, they were still not a pack that was able to hunt together.

Thus, my work was focused a lot on creating a team culture. An environment, where individuals would genuinely be willing to sacrifice themselves for the team to succeed. The moment we all agreed that winning was not a goal itself, but the outcome of the progress we had to make, was a game changer for us. The focus was to improve not only on the server but also outside of it.

Building the bonds in the team is not an easy task to do. Thus, a big thank you to Eetu, Pavle, Alvaro, Guy, PaweÅ‚, Marco, Valde, and the whole ENCE staff for being cooperative so the change was possible. I am saying goodbye to the team with a bit of sadness, as this year has been a hell of a ride for all of us! I am super happy that I was with ENCE on this amazing journey to become the 2nd best team in the world. At the same time, I am also super excited about what’s coming.

Always proud and #EZ4ENCE.”

Welcome Sens

At the same time, we are excited to announce that we have signed with Jaime “Sens” Callejas de la Pinta to take on the mantle of the new ENCE Performance Coach. With an extensive background working in esports with Movistar Riders and Fnatic, Sens will bring a fresh perspective and his deep understanding of the field to help us keep our game on the highest level possible.

“I've been working as a performance coach for the last 6 years. I started my career in Movistar Riders, where I had the chance to work in almost every game with a lot of players and coaches, after which I coached the FNATIC LEC team.

I love CS and I tend to have a lot of fun working with it. Now, I can happily say that I'm back in CS and a part of the ENCE family”, says Sens.

When we asked Sens what he hopes to achieve with ENCE in 2023, his reply is definitely something we and most of our fans can agree on:

“I'm a simple man. I like winning, I like trophies. I like to be part of the team.”
